The cover can be removed. Installing a strut tower brace is an easy way to improve the handling of your car and dress up your engine bay at the same time. This unit works by tying the two strut pillar towers together and reinforces the connection by bracing them against the firewall. When your vehicle corners, the strut bar distributes the cornering load across each strut tower thereby reducing chassis flex and keeping the car level. Once the strut bar is installed on your WK, you will notice that the front of your Jeep or Durango feels stiffer and that you have both more steering response and less body roll in the turns. Constructed using Chome Molly steel with black powder coating.
